International expert mentors and professional social innovation startup coaches from Lao, Myanmar, Malaysia, South Korea, Germany, the Netherlands and the US coached the young eco-entrepreneurs in further developing their environmentally friendly and sustainable business ideas in order to contribute to sustainable consumption and production patterns (SCP).

The three winning teams of each country will take part at the most famous start-up festival in Korea, the “K-Startup Week Come up 2020”, where they will have the opportunity to present their green business ideas to potential investors and stakeholders in Asia.

Since 2019, the Hanns Seidel Foundation Vietnam has been collaborating with ASEM SMEs Eco-Innovation Center (ASEIC) for the Ecothon series as part of its regional project to promote SCP in ASEAN.
