Hanns Seidel Foundation in discussion with the House of Representatives in discussion on upcoming collaboration

Strengthening National Security: Countering Cybercrime & Crypto-Fraud. The Hanns Seidel Foundation is proud to host a vital information exchange session at the Dusit Thani Hua Hin Hotel from April 23-25, 2026.

Pol. Gen. Worapong Chewpreecha, President of the Royal Police Cadet Academy Association, met with the RPCA Working Group, Regional Training Center 7, the RTP, and the Hanns Seidel Foundation.

From April 6–8, 2026, over 50 students gathered at Thammasat University for the Policy Maker Camp 2026 to explore the power of public policy and consumer protection. Through intensive lectures, hands-on workshops, and collaborative discussions, participants developed innovative policy ideas addressing real-world consumer challenges. The highlight of the camp took place on April 8, when students presented their proposals at the Parliament before a distinguished panel of Senators and experts—showcasing the next generation of policy leaders committed to shaping a fairer future.

The Nelson Mandela Center celebrated its 2nd anniversary in Thailand at the Eastin Grand Hotel Phayathai. During the event, Asst. Prof. Dr. Bhanubhatra Jittiang, Director of the Center, highlighted the organization's contributions and paid tribute to President Nelson Mandela’s legacy. Mr. Achim Munz, Regional Representative of the Hanns Seidel Foundation, also delivered a speech on behalf of the Foundation as a partner.

From October 16-18, 2025, the School of Political and Social Science (SPSS) at the University of Phayao and Hanns Seidel Foundation Thailand brought together twenty young leaders from across the country for the 11th Youth Camp: Glocalizing Democracy. The camp was held at the University of Phayao and Phayao Gateway Hotel in Phayao, Thailand.
