Out of 19 shortlisted teams who have finished the Boot Camp phase, 10 teams excellently made it to the National Final phase in which they had the opportunity to present their business ideas to national and international experts and fought for CLP Regional Final for the Asia-Pacific region. The National Final provided an exciting platform for the CLP national finalists to present their innovative business ideas to fight against climate change in different sectors such as energy, agriculture, food, forestry, textile, and environmental education. After pitching their business ideas, all finalists were faced with challenging questions from the panel of judges concerning various aspects of green business such as the feasibility, profitability, and sustainability of their business models.

Team Alternõ won first prize for their innovative sand batteries, which was primarily designed to improve the drying process of agricultural products. Their technology shows promise for boosting efficiency in agriculture while adhering to sustainability principles. Taking second prize was Team Greenlight Vietnam, recognized for their IoT platform tailored for tree planting and afforestation services. Their contribution aligns with environmental conservation efforts in the region. In addition, third prize was awarded to team Graphicsminer Lab for their eco-friendly toys made from sustainable cardboard. Their venture explores new avenues in high-tech toy production with an emphasis on environmentally conscious practices. Finally, a special prize was given to team Ná nả who contributes to sustainable production and consumption of local products by producing noodles from locally grown konjac.

After the National Final, all 10 finalists were given a series of customized intensive coaching and mentoring sessions conducted by CLP Vietnam’s experienced experts. These sessions were tailored to meet the unique needs and requirements of each competing startup, taking into account their current stage of business development. While the coaching focused on enhancing technical knowledge in innovation and green business strategies for startups in Vietnam, the mentoring sessions were designed to improve the start-ups’ capability to access finance, greenhouse gas emission calculation and management, and using sustainable design for their product development. Particularly, the 3 winners of CLP National Final were given technical support in preparation for their pitching session at the Asia Pacific Regional Semi-Final which is scheduled for November 7.
