As the consequence of the Covid-19 pandemic, Thai people’s way of life has been affected in many aspects; for example, the way of buying food and the prohibition from travelling to other countries. It leads to a great impact on Thailand as economy is predicted by the government to shrink by at least 8% this year. More than eight million of Thai people may lose their jobs or income in 2020. It will be a long-term challenge that Thailand is going to face.

This online event would discuss on these subjects. It focused on financial and economic impacts of the crisis that has already happened, and that experts expect for the latter half of the year. Moreover, experts would also give policy recommendations which would speed the recovery as well as share their opinions and observation about economic sustainability.
