Over the coming 4 weeks there will be three classes a week and a total of 54 MPs will be able to join to get a better understanding how to use Facebook and what are the possibilities and tools to use Facebook to communicate with their people in their constituency. Other topics will also include privacy, security and fake news. With over 14 Million Facebook users in Myanmar and the current discussion about how Facebook has contributed to the spread of hate speech and fake news, this workshop comes at an important time. The technical expertise on social media for the workshops comes from local Partners Mido and Myanmar Fifth Estate.

This training is part of HSF's cooperation and partnership with the Hluttaw which aims to support a more people oriented Hluttaw.
