During the last week of April, Tavoyan Women's Union (TWU) organized a workshop on Peace and Federalism in Dawei. The workshop brought together representatives of different CSOs and political parties around Dawei to share the update on the current peace process and some topics on federalism.

Sai Kyaw Nyunt, the UPDJC secretariat member, shared the background and an update of the peace process, while Ying Lao from the Salween Institute for Public Policy presented on Federalism and Myanmar. Aung Soe Minn, Programme Manager of HSF, facilitated a workshop and presented on federalism.

The participants discussed in the break out sections, especially on the issue of division of power/competences and sharing the resources and income.
