Workshop on Enhancing Criminal Investigation Training for Inquiry Official

The training workshop on “Enhancing Criminal Investigation Training for Inquiry Official” were held on 3 – 5 March 2021 under the cooperation between the Administrative Inquiry Official Society, the Department of Provincial Administration, the Ministry of Interior and the Hanns Seidel Foundation. The participants included inquiry officials in need of training for enhancing their capability and efficiency in criminal investigation.

On Wednesday 3rd – Friday 5th March, 2021, the Administrative Inquiry Official Society, the Department of Provincial Administration, the Ministry of Interior cooperated with the Hanns Seidel Foundation, Bangkok office in organizing a workshop on “Enhancing Criminal Investigation Training for Inquiry Official” at Mirama Hotel, Bangkok.

This workshop aims to provide knowledge and practical training for inquiry officials both in theory and in practise. The knowledge, in particular about the inquiry mission and the process of investigation for criminal cases, is essential for enhancing efficiency of inquiry officials in working on such cases.

On the first day of the workshop (3 March 2021), we had the honour of Dr. Axel Neubert, Resident Representative of the Hanns Seidel Foundation, Bangkok Office and Mr. Mana Simma, Expert on Law from the Investigation and Legal Affairs Bureau, the Department of Provincial Administration, the Ministry of Interior as the presidents of the opening remarks. Moreover, Dr. Axel also participated in the signing ceremony for the HSF Partner and Support Agreement between the Ministry of Interior and the Hanns Seidel Foundation for the year 2021.

Both parties hope that this workshop and further projects that will be co-organized in the future will help strengthen the work of inquiry officials as well as enhance Thailand’s social and political development.
