Training on Research Methodology

The purpose of this training was to further strengthen the knowledge and research skills of government staff to have strong and in-depth knowledge in research in order to set the vision, strategy, and socio-economic department plan of the provinces and the districts to be effective and efficient. These will positively contribute to the development of each Province and District in the direction of green growth.

More than 50 participants, including vice district majors of 7 districts of Phongsaly Province, Director and Deputy Directors of Departments, and representatives of Mass organizations from Northern Provinces, joined the training.

It was officially opened and co-chaired by Dr. Thanongsone Sibounheung, Acting Director of the Center for Information and Training, and Mr. Oukham Toulaphan, member of the National Assembly, Cabinet Chief of Phongsaly Governor's Office, with Mr. Ousavanh Thiengthepvongsa, Management Board member of Party of LASES, Acting Director of Socio-Economic Policy Research Institute, as a lecturer.
