HSF supported half-marathon in Kayin state
Thandaung Gyi Mountain Run

The Thandaung Gyi Mountain run attracted 43 participants from 21 nationalities to run 23km to the remote hill resort in Kayin state. The uphill race offered stunning mountain, river and lake views along the way. Members of the Thandaung Gyi community supported the race with water stops along the track. The Hanns Seidel Foundation sponsored refillable water bottles for runners and volunteers.

A special thanks also to MRTI - Myanmar Responsible Tourism Institute, the supporting community members and of course the runners!
