Supporting National Consultation Meeting of MCSCGA

The meeting brought together more than 50 civil society organizations

On behalf of Hanns Seidel Foundation Myanmar, our senior programme manager/political advisor U Tun Ohn and the chair of MCSCGA U Ngwe Thein welcomed the participants.

After the participants introduced themselves, the MCSCGA updated on ACSC/APF 2018. There was a panel discussion on 6 Convergence Spaces, which are to be discussed during ACSC/APF 2018.

In the afternoon, the participants discussed the topics for ACSC/APF as a preparation. Finally, the meeting selected participants to join ACSC/APF in November. HSF supported the participation of 10 Myanmar representatives in ACSC/APF.

We would like to thank the participants and MCSCGA for a wider participation in the process. We are looking forward to support other MCSCGA events.
