The Hanns Seidel Foundation cooperated with the National Institute for Economic Research (NIER) in the accomplishment of a training studio at the NIER’s office in June 2021. Both sides agreed to further the NIER’s capacity in research and public relations first so that they could bring their ability to enhance the overall economy and people’s capability in Lao PDR. For this purpose, the National Institute for Economic Research offered a space and a professional team to complete it while the Hanns Seidel Foundation provided essential equipment and supported funds.

The training studio will be used for any works contributing to our support of social, political and economic development in Lao PDR. It includes works in the field of news announcement, public relations, training workshops, supervision, etc.
