The training takes place from 28th May to 7th June. The focal trainers for the workshops are U Soe Lin Htoot from Myanmar 5th Estate and Daw Yatana Htun from Myanmar ICT for Development Organization (MIDO).
U Soe Lin Htoot presents how to effectively use tools for Facebook pages in communicating with the public as well as ways to promote committee pages to intended stakeholders. Daw Yatanar Htun from MIDO will discuss with committee staff the issues regarding digital and cyber security. This is the fourth session in a series of social media related workshops for the Union level Hluttws of Myanmar.
It is planned, that during the project phase 2017-2018 over 100 members of staff, who work on social media within Hluttaw will receive a training from HSF on how to engage more effectively and efficient with the public through tools such as Facebook. This contributes to the project aim “Supporting a people oriented Parliament in Myanmar” with financial support of the Foreign Ministry Germany.
