NIER Signing of Partnership Agreement

The National Institute for Economic Research (NIER) and the Hanns Seidel Foundation Laos (HSF) signed the Partnership and Support Agreement on 4 June 2021 at HSF Vientiane office.

Mr. Ousavanh Thiengthepvongsa, the representative of NIER (left) and Dr. Axel Neubert, the Resident Representative of HSF (right), signed the agreement.

Mr. Ousavanh Thiengthepvongsa, the representative of the Center for Training and Information under the National Institute for Economic Research (NIER), and Dr. Axel Neubert, the Resident Representative of the Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSF), Vientiane office, signed the Partner and Support Agreement on 4 June 2021.

The National Institute for Economic Research (NIER) and the Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSF) have been working as partners for years. The Hanns Seidel Foundation appreciates NIER’s great cooperation and support, so both sides agreed to work together for another year in order to support social, political, environmental and economic development in Lao PDR.

Both parties also further discussed and exchanged their opinions about preparation of the projects that would be co-organised in the future.
