NCM Program Turnover and Closing Ceremony Held

The Hanns Seidel Foundation/Germany (HSF) has turned over the program to the National Cooperative Movement (NCM) after 23 years of longstanding partnership beginning in 1993.

Mr. Götz Heinicke, HSF Resident Representative received the Program Terminal Reportfrom the NCM Chairman, former Agriculture Secretary and NCM Chairman, Mr. Senen C. Bacani. The Program Turnover and Closing Ceremony were witnessed by NCM Honorary Chairman, former Secretary and Governor Roberto M. Pagdanganan along with other officers and members of the NCM.

In behalf of NCM, Mr. Bacani expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the HSF represented in the Philippines by Mr. Heinicke as well as to his predecessor, Mr. Paul G. Schäfer who has retired early this year, and to Ms. Maria Adelia “Maryann” Co, HSF Program Coordinator, for the successful partnership.

In response, Mr. Heinicke, speaking in the name of the Hanns Seidel Foundation, thanked Mr. Bacani and the NCM for the opportunity to work with and get to know them in the few months this year that he has worked with the group after he has assumed the position in February 2016. In a Message, he commended the NCM for the major initiatives and accomplishments of the partnership. He assured the NCM of a continuing friendship in the years to come and wished the organization and its esteemed officers and members continued success and more power in the future.
