Getting to know the German Bundestag started with a lunch with Prof Dr Hans Joachim Rickes who is the Head of International Relations at the German Bundestag. This was followed by information and discussion on parliamentary educational films with Mr Tibor Pirschel who is a Senior Officer for Public Relations at the German Bundestag. Mr Tibor Pirschel has been to the Myanmar Parliament last November and discussions focused on how to develop themes for an educational film programme for the Myanmar Parliament.

Mr Hans-Henner Becker, Senior Officer of the Visitor Service, provided an introduction and discussion on the visitor service at the German Bundestag. A core pillar in the HSF cooperation with the Myanmar parliament is the strengthening of the visitor service. Subsequently the delegation went on a comprehensive guided tour through the entire Bundestag. At last the delegation had the opportunity to observe a plenary session at the Bundestag.
