In the morning the Delegation was welcomed at the Bundesrat. The Bundesrat has been a strong support of our project with the Hluttaw and on the past 18 months there have been 8 activities where the Bundesrat was directly involved with the project.

After a welcome by Dr Sandra Michel, Parliamentary Relations, an introduction on the Bundesrat by Mr Claus Koggel followed. The Bundesrat received more than 1000 groups of pupils, students and teachers in the past year that took part in the Bundesrat simulation - role play. At present the key target group for the simulation is youth and pupils between 15-25. The simulation is regularly adapted to societal changes. The Delegation then observed a role-play simulation of a Bundesrat session with pupils.

The Hluttaw representatives got the chance to observe a simulation of the German Bundesrat done with students from Germany.
