Federalism Academy 2019 – Module 2

The second module of the Federalism Academy 2019, jointly organized by YU Open Political Society, Centre for Development and Ethnic Studies and the Hanns Seidel Foundation, started on 27th May in Nyaung Shwe, Shan State. It concluded on 31st May, and the third and last module is scheduled to be in the last week of October.

This module focused on state constitution, peace process and governance. The first day covered the state constitution while the second day focused on peace process, gender equality and women’s participation in Myanmar’s transition process. We would like to thank all the speakers and resource persons for their contribution. Special thanks go to the participants who continued to follow the programme.
