52nd ASEAN Foreign Ministers Meeting

The 52nd ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (52nd AMM), Post Ministerial Conferences (PMCs), 20th ASEAN Plus Three Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (20th APT FMM), 9th EAS Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (9th EAS FMM) and 26th ASEAN Regional Forum (26th ARF) were held in Bangkok from 27th July to 3rd August. The ASEAN Ministerial Meeting is one of the most important decision-making body in ASEAN, second only to the Leaders’ Summit.

The official delegation to the 52nd AMM and related meetings was led by U Kyaw Tin, Union Minister for International Cooperation. Among the delegates, the Hanns Seidel Foundation supported three young Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) officials, Deputy Director U San Yu Kyaw, Assistant Director U Tun Lynn Aung and Head of Branch (II) U Aung Min Khant to take part in the meetings.

We would like to thank the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Myanmar for giving us a chance to support such an important meeting and we look forward to further cooperation.
