New Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and HSF

On 30th June 2016 a new Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the ASEAN Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) and HSF Myanmar.

The cooperation between MOFA and HSF dates back to 1994 when HSF supported Myanmar’s application for ASEAN membership in order to support the country’s first steps towards re-integration into the regional and international community.

The two partners formalised their cooperation in 2013 and renewed the existing Memorandum of Understanding on 30th June 2016.
