31 public relation officers of Ditjen PPI benefitted from the 2 days online and 3 days offline training in Bogor from 24-25th May & from 29-31 May 2023, delivered by professional media coaches. The workshop aimed at increasing the capacity of public relation officers in Ditjen PPI to produce photos, videos, and infographics by using mobile phone devices to generate content related to climate change topics. This will serve to increase the public outreach of the Indonesian Ministry of Environment and Forestry on issues of climate change via their website and social media.

After an initial set of theory-based learning, participants were able to practice the new skills during a practical exercise in the Botanical Garden at Bogor. The majority welcomed the training opportunity and expressed interest to further their skills in the future. They vouched to apply the learned skills and knowledge in their daily work later.
