Empowering Youth in Public Policy
Policy Maker Camp 2026

From April 6–8, 2026, over 50 students gathered at Thammasat University for the Policy Maker Camp 2026 to explore the power of public policy and consumer protection. Through intensive lectures, hands-on workshops, and collaborative discussions, participants developed innovative policy ideas addressing real-world consumer challenges. The highlight of the camp took place on April 8, when students presented their proposals at the Parliament before a distinguished panel of Senators and experts—showcasing the next generation of policy leaders committed to shaping a fairer future.

On 06.04.2026 marks the opening of Policy Maker Camp 2026! Held from April 6–8 at Thammasat University, the camp hosts over 50 students eager to explore the significance of public policy at the national level. This year’s focus is on consumer protection, where students will have the unique opportunity to pitch their policy proposals at Parliament on April 8.

On 07.04.2026 our future leaders dove deep into the world of public policy through intensive lectures and hands-on workshops.

On 08.04.2026 students from the Policy Maker Camp participated in a high-level pitching session at the Parliament. This event provided a platform for young delegates to present their consumer protection policies to a panel of distinguished Senators and subject-matter experts.

The presentations were divided into 10 groups across 5 key sectors:

Finance | Housing | Food & Health Products | Health Services | Public Transport

We are proud to support the development of informed, civic-minded leaders who are ready to shape the policies of tomorrow, and thanks to all who participated and supported this event

The event is organized by Asa Vichakarn (Faculty of Political Science, Thammasat University) in collaboration with the Senate Standing Committee on Political Development, Public Participation, Human Rights, Rights and Liberties, and Consumer Protection, Thailand Consumer Council, and Hanns Seidel Foundation.
