Capacity Building for Non-Party Stakeholders in Central Kalimantan on Greenhouse Gases Inventory, Monitoring, Reporting and Validation
The Indonesian Government's commitment to address the impacts of climate change, is regulated through Presidential Regulation Number 98 of 2021 concerning Implementation of Economic Value of Carbon (NEK) to Achieve Nationally Determined Contribution Targets and Control of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions in National Development. Among other scope of the regulation is that all sectors and local governments, under the coordination of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK), must prepare a greenhouse gas (GHG) report. To this end, Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSF) partnered with Directorate General of Climate Change Control (Ditjen PPI) of KLHK by conducting a training workshop on GHG inventory, reporting, monitoring and validation in Palangkaraya from 13-14 June 2023.
