ClimateLaunchpad Vietnam 2026: Empowering the Next Generation of Cleantech Entrepreneurs
Innovation and entrepreneurship are becoming key drivers of Vietnam's green transition. Across the country, young entrepreneurs are developing solutions that address climate change, resource efficiency and circular economy challenges while creating new business opportunities. ClimateLaunchpad supports this transformation by helping early-stage start-ups turn innovative ideas into scalable and investment-ready businesses.
Over the course of two intensive Boot Camps, the participating teams worked closely with ClimateLaunchpad expert Ron Bloemers and experienced trainers from ClimateLaunchpad Vietnam and the Vietnamese-German University (VGU). Through practical workshops, interactive coaching sessions and peer learning, participants refined their business ideas, validated customer needs, assessed the environmental impact of their innovations and strengthened their pitching skills. The programme also encouraged collaboration among entrepreneurs developing solutions in areas such as clean energy, circular economy, sustainable agriculture and resource efficiency.
The Boot Camps marked the first stage of ClimateLaunchpad Vietnam 2026 and laid the foundation for the next phase of the programme. In the coming weeks, participants will receive individual coaching to further strengthen their business models before competing for a place among the Top 10 teams advancing to the National Final. Beyond the competition itself, the programme aims to connect promising entrepreneurs with investors, universities and industry partners, helping innovative solutions reach the market and contribute to Viet Nam's sustainable development.
"Innovative start-ups are key drivers of Vietnam's green transition. ClimateLaunchpad helps entrepreneurs transform promising ideas into sustainable business solutions by combining international expertise, practical mentoring and strong partnerships across the innovation ecosystem," said Ngoc-Mai Trinh, Project Manager at Hanns Seidel Foundation Vietnam.
HSF's support for ClimateLaunchpad Vietnam reflects its long-term commitment to fostering sustainable entrepreneurship, innovation and international cooperation.
