The amended draft Law on Higher Education has been submitted to the National Assembly (Parliament) of Vietnam to meet the country's modern development and reform needs in higher education. The thirteen essays focus on the remaining challenges related to governance, autonomy, funding, asset management, and organisational reform in Vietnamese universities. International experiences and recommendations on how to improve the draft law, as well as how to enhance the efficiency and global competitiveness of higher education institutions in Vietnam, are presented to National Assembly deputies, who would use this material as a reference during their scrutiny process in October 2025.
