On 30-31 July 2025, the Hanns Seidel Foundation Thailand collaborated with the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) and Rise Foundation Asia (RFA) to deliver a comprehensive Mental Wellness Programme at the Ratchaburidirekrit Building, Government Complex.

On July 24, 2025, the Hanns Seidel Foundation Vietnam, in cooperation with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU) and Justus-Liebig University Giessen, launched the latest edition of the Country Report series. The event brought together academics, policymakers, and international experts to discuss the state and future of administrative reform in Vietnam.

With an innovative approach to seaweed-based solutions, “Rongbient” claimed first place at the ClimateLaunchpad Vietnam 2025 National Final. The competition showcased ten outstanding climate start-ups and featured expert dialogue on advancing sustainable entrepreneurship in Vietnam.

The workshop, held from 18 to 20 July 2025 and facilitated by the Hanns Seidel Foundation, brought together 40 participants to address the technical and regulatory challenges in operating Indonesia’s national carbon market. The sessions aimed to identify actionable solutions to accelerate progress toward the 2030 Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) targets.

Northern Mindanao trial prosecutors and police investigators join a seminar-workshop on cybercrimes, held July 16–17, 2025, in Cagayan de Oro. Organised by the Regional Prosecutor’s Office X and Police Regional Office 10, with support from the Hanns Seidel Foundation, the event aims to enhance knowledge of laws and procedures to improve cybercrime investigation and prosecution in the region.

Hanns Seidel Foundation Vietnam, in cooperation with the Institute of Strategy and Legal Science under the Ministry of Justice of Vietnam, organized a multi-stakeholder dialogue on enhancing public access to justice. The event brought together 75 experts and representatives from government ministries, law universities, think-tanks and law firms.

Continuing the Hanns Seidel Foundation's long-standing commitment to promoting citizen-oriented policing approaches worldwide, the Hanns Seidel Foundation Thailand, in partnership with the Bavarian Police, organised an intensive training programme from June 29-July 5, 2025. The programme, titled "Citizen-Oriented Police Forces in Accordance with Human Rights," welcomed officers from Thailand's Royal Police Cadet Academy (RPCA) to the 2nd Special Response and Training Police Department (II. Bereitschaftspolizeiabteilung) in Eichstätt, Germany.

From February to July 2025, ClimateLaunchpad Vietnam 2025 entered its most intensive phase with a series of training courses and coaching sessions designed to equip aspiring sustainable entrepreneurs with the skills, knowledge, and networks needed to turn climate-friendly ideas into viable businesses. Co-organised by the Hanns Seidel Foundation Vietnam (HSF) and Center for Creativity and Sustainability (CCS), the program continues to play a key role in strengthening Vietnam’s growing sustainable startup ecosystem.
