How can emerging journalists effectively validate content generated by artificial intelligence (AI) in today’s fast-changing environment? What role does ethical storytelling play in fostering trust and voter education? At the culminating 2025 Media and Information Literacy seminar in Bacolod City, students and educators tackled fact-checking, AI reliability, digital security, and media ethics—preparing to meet complex challenges with informed, responsible practices.

The Community-based Dialogue (CBD) activity was held on May 16, 2025 in Baguio City. The activity, which was organized by the Commission on Human Rights-Cordillera Administrative Region (CHR-CAR) in cooperation with CAR CBD core group and HSF, was conducted to (1) deepen the understanding of the participants on human rights, (2) raise awareness on the issues faced by the youth in the Cordillera; and (3) develop policy recommendations to address emerging issues involving the youth.
