In collaboration with the Institute of Strategy and Policy on Natural Resources and Environment (ISPONRE), Hanns Seidel Foundation Vietnam organized a workshop in Hanoi to discuss preferential policies and support mechanisms for sustainable solid waste landfill management in Vietnam. The workshop brought together various Ministry officials, waste management experts from Hanoi and northern provinces, as well as representatives from waste treatment companies and landfill operators.

On the 24th of October the Center for Excellence for Public Policy and Good Governance (CPG), with support from the Hanns Seidel Foundation Thailand Office and the Asian Governance Foundation, successfully hosted a conference, featuring an introductory lecture on "Thailand's Path to OECD Membership: Reforms, Challenges, Opportunities."

The Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSF) Indonesia, in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK), is committed to enhancing public relations efforts to effectively communicate climate change issues. Recognizing the importance of engaging stakeholders and the public, HSF supported KLHK in strengthening the capacity of public relations officers to leverage social media and digital content creation to raise awareness on climate change.

From September 29 to October 4, 2024, the Hanns Seidel Foundation Vietnam (HSF) led a delegation of 30 representatives from circular start-ups, start-up support organisations and policymakers spanning 12 countries across Asia, North Africa, and Latin America to attend ASEAN Circular Economy Forum (ACEF) 2024 and related events in Bangkok. This initiative is part of the Think Global Sustainability Network’s activities under HSF’s Global Project on Mitigation and Adaptation to Climate Change (GMACC).

This 1-day CBD held on September 26, 2024 in Kalibo, Aklan was organized by the Commission on Human Rights Region VI (CHR-VI) in cooperation with PROCESS Foundation-Panay and Western Visayas Network of Social Development NGOs (WeVNet), with support of the Hanns Seidel Foundation/Germany (HSF). It was attended by thirty (30) participants comprising of participants from civil society organizations (CSOs), Philippine National Police (PNP), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) (3rd Infantry Division, Philippine Army), office of the governor of Aklan, office of the mayor of Kalibo, academe, the Commission on Human Rights (CHR) led by its regional director, Atty. Jonnie Dabuco, and HSF led by its resident representative, Mr. Alexander Birle.
