The presentation of the amended licence marks an important milestone in ensuring the continuity of HSF's long-standing engagement in Vietnam. Since establishing its Representative Office in Hanoi in 2011, the Foundation has worked closely with Vietnamese partners to promote good governance, sustainable development, the rule of law and international cooperation.

During the meeting, Dr. Neubert and Mr. Hùng exchanged views on Vietnam's recent socio-economic development and discussed future priorities for cooperation. Particular emphasis was placed on supporting policymaking, strengthening institutional capacities and further expanding parliamentary cooperation between the Vietnamese National Assembly and the German Bundestag. The discussion also highlighted the importance of closer cooperation between public institutions, academia and the private sector in both countries.

The meeting also reaffirmed the shared commitment of HSF Vietnam and VUFO to maintaining their close partnership and promoting dialogue between Vietnam and Germany. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to continuing joint initiatives that contribute to sustainable development, institutional cooperation and people-to-people exchange.

HSF Vietnam sincerely thanks the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations (VUFO) and the People's Aid Coordinating Committee (PACCOM) for their continued trust and support. Together with its Vietnamese partners, the Foundation remains committed to fostering dialogue, strengthening institutional cooperation and contributing to the further development of Vietnam-Germany relations.
