Workshop on the Investigative Approach toward Transnational Organized Crime for Administrative Inquiry Officers

From 31 May to 2 June 2022, the Hanns Seidel Foundation Thailand, together with the Administrative Inquiry Official Society of the Department of Provincial Administration under the Ministry of Interior, organized a “Workshop on the Investigative Approach toward Transnational Organized Crime for Administrative Inquiry Officers”.

The Training Workshop was held at Kantary Hotel Ayutthaya in Ayutthaya, with 25 participants.

The Workshop aimed to train officers that recently started to work at the Administrative Inquiry Official Society in order for them to be able to do their work efficiently. They received training from experienced prosecutors on securing evidence, writing letters of indictment, and other topics, such as human trafficking, identity theft, and transnational crimes. Additionally, senior officers worked on drafting a new handbook for future officers.
