The delegation consisted of representatives from HSF offices in the wider region and the HSF headquarters. Mr. He Do Manh Hung, vice director of the parliamentary administration, welcomed the delegation. Subsequently, an exchange between him and Dr. Susanne Luther, Director of the Institute for International Cooperation took place.

The HSF will support the administration on strengthening the capacity of Vietnamese parliamentarians and staff of the National Assembly Office, as appropriate, in the process of development and amendment of economic, environment protection and climate change adaptation, labour and social protection policies in order to achieve sustainable development.

Key activities include high level seminars, roundtables and trainings to provide and exchange know how and experiences on economic, environmental and social issues in order to gain deeper understanding of issues with various perspectives. Also studies, researches and publications to create evidences for policy.
