Preparation Workshop
Internal Workshop

From April 27 to 29, 2022, the Hanns Seidel Foundation held a preparation Workshop to design our upcoming project proposal and do team building.

HSF Team discussing the upcoming project proposal

HSF

The main objective of this workshop was to plan and design an intervention logic for the upcoming project proposal. Since the next project period (2023-2025) is around the corner, the Hanns Seidel Foundation Thailand will need to generate a strategic intervention logic and plan. In order to design the project proposal, we reviewed existing partnerships, discussed the possibility of new partnerships, and had general discussions on our program and project work in Thailand. The aim was to share knowledge and experiences to improve our work relations and contacts, including political briefings and discussions, especially in the context of politically relevant events and developments.

As HSF Thailand has recruited 3 new team members recently, the workshop also served the purpose of getting to know each other better and acknowledge where we can build on each other’s strengths when working together or with project partners.

HSF

During the Workshop the Hanns Seidel Foundation had the opportunity to visit the Central Police Tactical Training Center in Nakhon Ratchasima. The Central Police Tactical Training Center provides tactical training for police officers in all departments as well as develops training methods that meet international standards. Furthermore, the Center conducts research in police science to increase academic efficiency and establish educational standards in teaching and learning systems.

The Royal Thai Police is one of Hanns Seidel Foundation’s long-standing partners in Thailand. The partnership contributes to the promotion of the “Community-oriented Policing” aiming to ensure people’s trust in the police organization.
