The legal drafters of the regional office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in East Java participated in the workshop organized by HSF together with the Directorate General. Twenty legal drafters received training regarding their researching and writing skills for three days from 18th to 20th of September 2019. The training aimed at improving the skills of the Ministry’s staff, so that ultimately the staff has the expertise to publish papers in legal journals (Jurnal Hulum) edited by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.
University professors and academic experts from the field of constitutional law delivered the material. Topics that were covered included legal drafting, online research in E-Journals, general research guidelines, and editing. The workshop was well received by the participants and they look forward to publish their research in the Ministry’s legal journals soon.
