Module Development for a Citizen-oriented Police Training based on the Philosophy of the Bavarian Police

This workshop is aimed to enhance the curriculum of police training centers across Thailand through the development of training modules based on the Bavarian example.

The 24th January 2024, marks the start of our 3-day Workshop titled “Module Development for a citizen-oriented Police Training based on the Philosophy of the Bavarian Police” at the Royal Thai Police Cadet Academy in Samphran, Nakhon Pathom. This workshop is aimed to enhance the curriculum of police training centers across Thailand through the development of training modules based on the Bavarian example. The expertise comes from the years of experiences of Police Chief Director Manfred Gigl and Captain Ralf Eireiner from the 2nd Special Response and Training Police in Eichstätt, Bavaria.

Participants included 40 Lecturers and Trainers of the Police Training Centers 1-9, Central Police Training Divisions and the RPCA. Also, we would like to express our gratitude towards Pol.Lt.Gen Senit Samransamruatkit, Commissioner of Royal Police Cadet Academy and Pol.Maj.Gen. Pooriwat Poonsawat, Deputy Commissioner of the Royal Police Cadet Academy for hosting the workshop where cooperation is strengthened and friendships formed between the Royal Thai Police and the Bavarian Police.
